As we approach the 2017 Little League season, the Urbana Little League is looking for volunteers to help us make sure we can open the Yankee Ridge concessions stand each night a suited team has a home game.

Traditionally ULL provides a snack and drink to all home and visiting players after each Suited game. Concessions profits are used to support that expense. In addition, the concessions stand raises funds to support other league expenses (more than $700 profit raised in 2015!).


— We will need one designated lead parent from each suited team to take responsibility to open/close the stand and recruit parents from your team to assist with staffing during your team’s home games at the Yankee Ridge suited field. The designated parent leader will not have to work at the concessions stand during every home game but rather will sign up parents from their team to staff the stand.  With a view from the stand behind home plate, the stand could be the best seat at the field.

If you plan to volunteer, you will need to go to and sign up as “Adult or non-player.”

The more volunteers we have, the less time each individual parent will have to commit, and the more enjoyable the season will be for all.
